It’s royal wedding day and this time it’s 38-year-old, Lady Gabriella Windsor, standing next to long time boyfriend, Thomas Kingston, at St. George’s chapel in Windsor’s castle – exactly one year since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were married at the same location.
Lady Gabriella is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent (one of the Queen Elizabeth’s many cousins) who is currently 52nd in line to the throne, bumped down after the birth of baby Archie just two weeks ago.
The happy bride wore a stunning lace wedding dress designed by Luisa Beccaria for her big day. The gown featured embroidered flowers and thick layers of tulle and organza beneath delicate lace. The bride’s veil was also made of tulle and embroidered flowers, seemlessly matching her gown for a romantic bridal look.
Lady Gabriella also sported a diamond tiara; a piece of family history worn by her grandmother, Princess Marina – Duchess of Kent, and her mother, Princess Michael of Kent, on both their wedding days.
The bride’s stunning bouquet featured a soft apricot and white color palette consisting of Juliet roses, Lily of the Vallery, and sweet peas. The bouquet also featured a namesake rose, the ‘Ella’ as well as Myrtle, another family tradition started by Queen Victoria.
The bridal party included bridesmaids, Isabella Windsor, Maud Windsor, Leonora Weisman, Aurelia del Drago, Eliza Goldsmith and Emily Conolly. On Kingston’s side, were Benjamin Crow, Daniel Crow and Jamie Campbell.
The bridesmaids dresses were also designed by Luisa Beccaria, consisting of cream-colored gowns with blush underlays and bridal sashes. Each bridesmaid wore flower rings in their hair, that closely resembled Lady Gabriella’s bouquet.
In addition to the bridesmaids and flower girls, the pageboys of the wedding sported similar cream-colored attire and shoes by designer, Papouelli.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry were among the guests in this small family affair, with the reception being held at the Frogmore House.
